Sharon Conroy has been practicing yoga in the Iyengar tradition since 1986 and is certified at the Junior Intermediate III level. Students describe her as a dynamic and compassionate teacher whose love for this path is evident. In 1989, Sharon opened the first Iyengar Yoga Center in New Orleans and taught there until Katrina. She travels regularly to India to study with the Iyengar family and is a longtime student of Patricia Walden, one Mr. Iyengar's most senior students. While Sharon continues to travel to India and to teach in other places, she is pleased to have settled in Grayton Beach and enjoys working with the resident and visiting yoga community along 30A.
